Daniel was Excellent.

I did not stand behind hi, and look over his shoulder. As far as Daniel's performance goes, he seemed to be very knowledgable, professional, likable, and answered all questions. What I do not like is how the company is changing their warranty policy, now charging deductables which they have never charged me on my lifetime warranty. Times must be tough for the company, being how they do not stand by their committment to long time customers. Past techs told me" never give up this warranty", everything is covered. The company no longer offers this warranty.

For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and he stated his system was not working, I did a super tune-up on 12 April and when I left he said the system was working fine and cooling. However a couple days ago the system decided to stop cooling the house therefore the customer called and requested a tech to come look at. When I showed up I inspected the furnace and coil. I turned power off and flushed the drain line, turned power back on and reset the board and attempted to jump R and Y. On doing this the fuse blew, presumably because one of the clamps was touching common. I replaced the fuse and the system turned on and started working as normal however I was only getting a single digit Delta, nowhere close to 20°. I gauged up to the outdoor unit and my gauges were showing the coil sat temp was below freezing indicating there was a possible leak, and or low on refrigerant. I leak searched the evaporator coil extensively but could not find any signs of a leak and was not g

Arrived on site customer said last night system was not cooling and husband went to check unit upstairs and saw that the txv was frozen. Turned on fan shut system off. I turned system back on in cooling gauged up after system regulation reading superheate 104.8 degrees subcool in the negative and barely any pressure within system after process of elimination determining leak is on evaporator coil. Set comfort advisor visit for Sunday 3-5pm. Emailed estimate for repair. Signed up for home and budget protection plan.

System had no power going to it when I arrived. Customer had advised me that the system tripped the main panel breaker this morning when he turned it on. Customer flipped the main panel breaker but not service disconnect I reset the service breaker power returned but the unit was still not working. After looking up the manual and performing troubleshooting I determined that the DC inverter board was inoperable. After explaining the situation to the customer he requested to speak with someone who could give him an alternative or options. He spoke with Ryan about his frustration with the system only working for 3 years. After his conversation we all agreed that an alternative to his mini split would serve him best and he would like to speak with someone who can offer him options and pricing. Arrived for 3 system eval Customer wanted units to be charge up with refrigerant Two systems were 410a and one was r22 Relayed that I was only able to do two of the system and the r22 needed to be order to charge Customer wanted to hold off for now on the r22 and see what the home inspector said before going ahead and charging the r22 System working before I left

Tested all components all measured within ratings and specs. Refrigerant level is normal. Washed and cleaned condenser. Changed filter. Recommend duct cleaning lvl1 and upgrading the filter to aprilaire 20x20x5

Tech Cody arrived to customer's home, I met the homeowner and they guided me inside to the thermostat and indoor unit. The indoor coil and blower were clean, the heat strips were working properly and the filter was not in need of changing. The temperature split was 22 degrees. Outside the electrical equipment were operating normally. I cleaned out the outdoor unit was washed it with a hose, after I waxed the unit as well.

This system is intolerance with all conpenets out and inside.. I did find some biogrowth on the Evap coil. For this I installed a iaq200 to help improve air quality and keep the system clean and free from biogrowth.

The house was almost new so the panel looked great it wasn't eaten CH type panel so I didn't form them about how those breakers tend to go out very fast but beyond that all they needed was a surge protector

For the super tune-up I inspected the air handler and condenser, all equipment was measuring within manufacturer specs and running well. Well inspecting the air handler I noticed there was no water safety on either drain line or in the overflow pan, I recommend to the customer getting some sort of water safety to prevent water damage to their ceiling. Lastly I recommend a compressor saver and surge protection for the home to increase the longevity of their system as well as protect it from any surges or lightning strikes.
