Initial call for tune-up and system check. Identified poor installation (from another company), clogged drains, emergency stop not functioning and drain pan not installed correctly. Save me from potential catastrophic damage to ceiling and attic. Knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt service. Would recommend for HVAC service & repairs.

Zak from Comfort Experts did an emergency service and was excellent. He carefully explained what was going on and quickly fixed our problem. Unfortunately another problem unrelated to the air conditioner was going on as well. Zak knew just who to call and quickly requested a Comfort Experts plumber be sent our way. Comfort Experts has been our go to for heating and air for more than 40 years. They really do go above and beyond!

Our AC fan went out and so we called Comfort. We had someone by within a few hours. Unfortunately we found out the problem is electrical, but we were able to get the furnace wired to another working outlet. Electrician came by and gave us more of an idea of what we're working with. Real nice guy, knowledgeable and understanding. We just unfortunately cannot afford it at the moment. Very thankful that the first guy was able to at least give us a backup plan and get the air on again!

Daniel A and his trainee Jihed B did an excellent job! They diagnosed the problem and presented us with recommendations for repair. They were both polite and professional at all times. The information was presented in a manner that non A/C professional could understand without being condescending. We love having Daniel A. as our service tech. He is an asset to your company and is training Jihed to be the same.

Replace meterbase, entrance conductors and riser damaged in storm
On this job I looked at both heating and cooling. Issues Heating up stairs. System has an issue turning the heat on. This is due to a faulty thermostat. Cooling down stairs. The system has started take bites out of the disconnect key. This is due most likely to the high inrush amps. Cap is out of tolerance System needs soft start device new disconnect and new cap size 70mfd currently reading 66 Recommend both system have this done on the cooling side. Downstairs system needs 410a recharge. Super heat reads 27° indicating a starving evap coil. Should be 15° System have been cleaned.
Came to house for power going on and off and got here and power went off but talk to customer and found out that since the storm power has been going out around the neighborhood and encore has been emailing and sending out messages to everybody in the area but got here to look at electrical system and meter and riser are still up and look fine only thing I saw wrong was neutral wire was frayed before going down service Mass but everything inside is correct it is old but customers have never had any issues with their electrical before and only thing I see is frayed wire and electrical is not up to code but his grandfathered in due to age but still informed homeowner on issues and things that can happen if electrical system is not up to code and explain to customer to call encore and explain to them that they had an electrician out and they are not getting power from the power line
On this job I looked at both heating and cooling. I'm happy to report that the system test intolerance. Heating TD 30 Cooling TD 20 Subcool 5 Superheat 14 Syatem could use easy start to help it with inrush.
During this visit I could not perform tune up because the electricity to the home shut off and on way to much. After looking at the panel and the weather head I see the age of it all. I'm setting her up with electrician today and pausing the tune up until the issue is resolved.
Name two house for AC thermostat having issues customer stated they can mess with the pull it off and put it back on a few times and then it'll work but they had already replaced and got a new thermostat and it still doing the same issues but if they move it to the upstairs unit that thermostat works perfectly but moving it to the downstairs unit it says that y1 and W1 are having an issue saying that the heating and cooling wires are missing but electrically wise panel and wires going to system looks great no issues Customer stated that they are available for tomorrow morning to have AC tech come out
IAQ estimate Installed IAQ 300 with anti microbial mist and resealed supply plenum
On this job I looked at both heating and cooling. Besides the high inrush the system test in tolerance on both sides. Heat strips 20amps each. Superheat 17 Subcool 10 TD is 20 System could use a break down cleaning as well out side to get all the grass out of the frame.
On this job I installed a new furnace control board. System heating is now back online.
On this job I found the system complete iced over. System has stuck on due to contcator. The system has high in rush and loads rust. After break the system down and showing Mrs Erwin the condition she wants to discuss system replacement. She's set for today for CA. To talk about replacement on 5ton straight cool with has furnace in the closet. She also want to talk about duct cleaning because they have nbr been cleaned before.
On this job I looked at both sides for the heater. The heat strips 10kw and heat pump both test in tolerance. The heat strips pulling 20 amps each. And heat pump makes a suction line temp of 127 ° I recommend surge protector for the outside condensor to protect against storms. Also a duct cleaning.
