My air conditioning unit stopped producing cool air today, which in the Texas summer can be a serious issue. I called Comfort Experts in the early afternoon, expecting to be told that no one would be available until at least tomorrow if not later. They had a technician to my house to evaluate the situation within 2 hours! He was very polite and knowledgeable, and told me exactly what was wrong with my system. I was surprised to learn that this relative new (about 5 years old) system had grounded itself and was basically non-repairable. However, he said it was still covered under warranty and did everything necessary to arrange to get a new one for my home as soon as possible. I was very impressed and pleased with the level of service and caring that was exhibited by both the lady who made the appointment for me on the phone, as well as the technician himself. I highly recommend.

For this job I performed an evaluation. Homeowner had water leak into the home and believed it was from not repairing clogged drain. I tested the drain line with 6 gallons of water, the primary drain line was clear. I recommended having a plumber do an inspection to find the source of the water leakage. The homeowner stated they have there own plumber and will have them come look at the home. The homeowner stated they could not afford the $99 service fee and would have to be billed. I informed the office, paused for now office to take care of billing.

On arrival system running and cooling producing 19 degrees delta. Indoor unit very clean and drain line flowing. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing. Signed customer up for 10 yr labor warranty 4 star plan. System cooling as I left.
For this job I performed a tune-up. The system had a compressor saver kit installed that was out of tolerance allowing the compressor to amp over the LRA rating on the data tag. I recommended replacing the compressor saver or upgrading to a soft start kit and adding a membership for benefits and discounts. Homeowners declined any recomendations given for now but requested a email to be sent. No further suggestions were made, the system was operating within normal spec limits. Found unit 2 lb low of 410A freon did leak search on evaporator coil found leak at evaporator coil evaporator coil under warranty put 2 lb of 410A freon in system customer paid for freon and for warranty coil to be installed after we get availability on the part there will be no charge for freon when job is done due to the fact that customer has already paid for the freon
Today we showed up on a complimentary plumbing evaluation. Upon arrival a homeowner had standstilled water in the backyard about 6 ft away from the house. We checked and no water lines no sewer lines running that general direction. We put the house on a pressure test, and the pressure did not drop which means there is no leak on the water system.
